BOCAS DEL TORO OVERWATER BUNGALOWS
We have four spacious overwater bungalows available for nightly or weekly rental. Each features collapsible front walls for expansive sea views, a private deck, private bathroom with hot water, ceiling fan, and mini-fridge. The difference between the bungalows is that Bungalows 1 and 2 have direct water access and overwater hammocks and are larger and further out from shore. Bungalows 3 and 4 are brand new and have closets and air conditioning.
Overwater bungalow 1 is suitable for 1-3 people and totals 600 square feet/56 square meters. It has a king size four-poster bed and a twin daybed that can be used as a sitting area or as a bed for an extra guest, stairs into the sea, and an overwater hammock.
Overwater bungalow 2 is slightly larger (700 square feet/65 square meters) and is suitable for 1-4 people. It has a king size four-poster bed and two twin daybeds, stairs into the sea, and an overwater hammock.
Overwater bungalows 3 and 4 are each 330 square feet (31 square meters) and are suitable for 1-2 people. They each have a king size four-poster bed, walk-in closet, and AIR CONDITIONING.
Run of the House includes all four bungalows for bookings of up to 11 people.
All rooms feature collapsible glass front walls that open all the way to allow for expansive views of the sea, the surrounding islands, and spectacular sunsets. All rooms have private decks with sea views and private bathroom with spacious hot water shower.
You can also enjoy sea views from the private decks in all rooms. Our guests frequently spot dolphins and eagle rays from the private overwater patios, in addition to some of the best views in Panama.
Our beds are handmade of solid wood and feature luxury mattresses, pillows, and linens. We get a lot of comments about how comfortable the beds are.
Though the overwater bungalows feature large windows and angles designed to maximize airflow, each also comes with an industrial ceiling fan. Air conditioning is unnecessary on Isla Bastimentos, as evening temperatures average between 68-72º F (20-22º C) year-round. But, if you prefer AC, we recommend bungalows 3 and 4.
